ParkinGO captured switching from Ducati to Aprilia for next season

THE WSS winning partnership of ParkinGO and Chaz Davies are moving up to World Superbikes next season, but it may not be with Ducati as previously expected.

In what was supposed to be a secret test yesterday, Davies was spotted at Portimao riding an Aprilia RSV4.

The move is a departure from the original plan of running factory supported Ducati 1198s, as reportedly Aprilia have offered Giuliano Rovelli's squad a factory RSV4 of their own - with the one-man team running alongside the official Alitalia outfit of Max Biaggi and Eugene Laverty.

The reasoning behind the switch to Aprilia machinery could be a result of the new rule changes stipulating a weight increase for 1200cc v-twins.
