TWO second place finishes for Sylvain Guintoli moves the Frenchman up the standings from fourth to second whilst two race wins has only moved Marco Melandri up one place to fifth.

A DNF in race one hasn't hindered Kawasaki's Tom Sykes as he remains at the top of the standings by 13-points ahead of Guintoli who is closely followed by Jonathan Rea only 9-points behind.

Britain's Alex Lowes drops from ninth to eleventh after a DNF in race one and a ninth position in race two. Voltcom Crescent Suzuki team-mate Eugene Laverty moves up two positions to eighth after a third and seventh at Sepang.

Despite only standing in for injured Sylvain Barrier in the BMW Motorrad Italia team, Leon Camier is currently fourteenth in the Championship standings and top EVO class rider.
