Triumph Motorcycle Sales Reach All-Time High in 2024
Triumph’s global sales have reached an all-time high as the British company sold more than 100,000 motorcycles for the first time ever in 2024
Triumph’s global sales have reached an all-time high with more than 100,000 motorcycles sold globally in 2024, which marks the first time that’s happened in its 122-year history.
The British company sold 134,635 motorcycles in 2024 which is a massive 64 per cent increase from the year before, while sales around the world have grown by 123 per cent since 2019.
950 official Triumph dealers exist globally which is a 46 per cent increase from 2019. As well as the stunning figures which marked its best year by far, Triumph launched itself into two all-new segments last year which contributed to its success.
One of those is the off-road competition category which has seen the introduction of Triumph’s TF 250-X motocross bike, as well as the all-new TF 450-RC model which arrived in September 2024 before going on sale in dealerships this month.
The Hinckley-based manufacturer also delved into the sub-500cc category, producing the 400cc Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X, both of which arrived in dealers in early 2024.

Triumph’s sales went up across all its regions worldwide in 2024, with the largest growth achieved in India as sales reached 29,736, while the Americas region also saw a huge rise which includes Brazil, Canada and the US. Sales were up by 44 per cent compared to 2023.
The sales success was also replicated in its Distributor market growth, which experienced a 33 per cent rise in sales, as well as a 30 per cent growth in Asia, and 18 per cent increase across its European markets, which remains Triumph’s largest region.
2024 marks the fifth consecutive year that Triumph has managed to achieve an all-time record in its motorcycle sales.
Triumph Motorcycles Chief Commercial Officer Paul Stroud said: “We’re very pleased with the growth that we achieved last year, which follows an incredible run of continuous growth since 2019, despite a very challenging global economic climate. I would like to thank all our valued customers for their continued support for Triumph and welcome our new customers to the Triumph family.”
