Yamaha will celebrate its 70th anniversary in style later this month, as a weekend of track sessions, accompanied test rides, and more will be available at Cadwell Park.

The Cadwell Moto event, which takes place on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 of September, is being organised by Classic Bike Trackdays.

Alongside the various track sessions, test rides will be provided by RobSpeed Motorcycles, which will have a range of new bikes to choose from. The packed weekend will also feature race bike parades on both days. Machines that are set to hit the track include TZ500 motorcycles from the early 1980s, while some TZ750s are also expected to feature.

Other lunchtime parades have also been planned, which will give spectators a chance to experience the undulating Cadwell circuit, although riders of Yamaha machinery will get first dibs. If there are remaining places available, then anyone attending can take part in the three-lap experience on any bike.

Members of classic motorcycle clubs and individual exhibitors are welcome to attend and show off their motorcycle as part of a display, which can be done for free. All you need to do is complete a booking form.

Keeping with the classic theme, the Poachers Pre-65 Classic Trials Club will run displays and demos through Cadwell Park’s woodlands. This will take place on Saturday in segments. 10am is the first slot, before continuing at 11:45am, 1:50pm and 3:10pm. Three slots are lined up on Sunday (9:50am, 12pm, 2:45pm).
