New: Continental ContiRoadAttack 2 EVO tyre
New Continental tyres aims to improve wet grip and extend tyre lifetime
Unveiled at EICMA in November 2013, the ContiRoadAttack 2 EVO is the successor of Continental’s ContiRoadAttack 2 sports touring tyre.
Continental’s main focus with the EVO was to improve wet grip and extend tyre mileage.
The EVO achieves this by using an increased silica rich compound and enhancing the tyre’s tread pattern.
The tread grooves now cover an additional 28.5% of the front tyre and 33% of the rear tyre with an aim to increase the amount of water shifted away from the contact patch.
The EVO is also made using Continental’s ‘Traction Skin’ technology which ‘virtually eliminates the need for a scrubbing in period, delivering greater rider safety on the new tyre.’
The ContiRoadAttack 2 EVO will be available in the following sizes:
- 120/70 ZR 17 M/C (58W) TL – Front
- 110/80 R 19 M/C 59V TL – Front
