Although the one pictured doesn’t look that worn it’s a recent replacement for the one I’ve been using ever since I passed my test two years ago.
The previous incarnation met its fate in Africa at the hands of a knobbly tyre and chain. It has been in constant use this summer.
When the weather has been warm enough I’ve stripped out both inner linings, and when the heavens have opened the waterproof membrane just pops straight back in again.
There are removable flaps on the side for even more ventilation and various methods of micro-adjusting all aspects of the jacket.
A really cost-effective alternative to the BMW suits.
