Small tweaks all round for the S1000RR. Engine power remains the same but traction control, suspension, steering geometry, gearing and styling all get tweaks
I am part of a small percentage of bikers that likes four stroke singles. I like the way you can lay the power down hard and early in a corner with superb feel for what the back tyre is doing. Or more importantly, about to do. I like the direct involvement between every power stroke and the throttle cable. I like the noise they make.
Two months ago I had a set of Bridgestone BT-016 Pro’s fitted to my Triumph Speed Triple. Before setting out on the new tyres, the Speed had covered 4000 miles. Now with just over 7000 on the clock the rear tyre is on the limit markers. So, 3000 miles from the rear and the front has at least another 1500 miles in it.
