Kawasaki Germany first opened its doors 50 years ago, and to celebrate the anniversary it has produced a very special looking limited edition Z900 RS.

Sadly we won't be getting the bike here in the UK, being a German-market-only model, but that can’t stop us from drooling over the pictures of the new model, which is highlighted by a number of special features and parts.

The bike is being limited to just 150 units, and those looking to buy can even specify the numbered edition they would like to own - as long as the number isn’t already taken, of course. Setting the bike apart from the stock Z900 RS, the machine features a completely new colour scheme, unique to the anniversary model. It also features badging and decals that are specific to this bike. Each machine also features its production number on the side panels (both left and right) as well as on the top clamp.

The bike also features a custom seat with a specially made seat cover and diamond pattern with gold-coloured stitching. You also get gold-coloured anodized aluminium bar ends, radiator side panels (left and right), and heel guards. The bike also features “50 Years of Kawasaki Germany” branding on the fuel tank, while owners of the machine also receive a limited edition box which holds a numbered certificate, anniversary book and framed picture of the 50th-anniversary model.

The bikes are available to reserve now via Kawasaki Germany, but only until 23:59 on December 31 2024. If a reservation is made but not fulfilled within five days, the number associated with the reservation will be released and made available for somebody else.
