We’ve all watched our fair share of high-speed chases, may it be for entertainment purposes or because you want criminals to be caught. But this chase that took place between two motorcycles might just usurp anything you’ve seen before. An offender, who is carrying a female pillion, attempts to ride away from a police officer in the streets of Osasco, near Sao Paulo.

Passing through extremely narrow alleyways, twisty bends and main roads with other moving traffic, the chase lasts over five minutes before coming to an end when the offender loses control after riding down a steep set of stairs. The chase starts with the offender nearly colliding with several cars, as the police officer does well to keep up.

The skills of both riders, it must be said, are extremely impressive! However, the offender’s desperate attempts to lose the police officer result in very dangerous riding, as the passenger nearly comes off the bike when he fails to slow down for speed bumps.

We can do our best to describe exactly what happened, but here is the entirely wild and thrilling chase.

It's the type of clip you would expect out of a blockbuster movie, both motorcyclists demonstrated a huge amount of skill, but that said, the dangers and risks they took, not only for themselves but many others, could have resulted in serious injury. It’s fair to say this chase had everything, including other motorcyclists, cars and members of the public being at risk.

While the police officer takes considerably less risk, the speeds at which they take blind corners, join main roads and overtake other road users defy belief. Trying to be too clever, the offender is finally caught when he loses control of the bike, which results in both the pillion and rider taking a slow-speed tumble, but luckily for them, neither appeared to be injured.
