Deal: Get a New Honda XL750 Transalp for Cheaper Than You Think
A brand-new Honda XL750 Transalp is £1K cheaper than before, but after the 2025 model arrived with minor changes, and a bump in price expected, this 2024 model is even greater value
Honda whipped off the covers on a new 2025 Honda XL750 Transalp last week at EICMA, but with subtle changes for the upcoming year, the 2024 bike remains a bargain in today’s adventure motorcycle market, especially when savings like this start being offered.
Courtesy of Sutton Motorcycles, this brand-new 2024 model Honda XL750 Transalp has been reduced from £9,749 to £8,749 which is a handy £1,000 saving already. That amount of cash saved could get even greater, if you were to compare the bike to the recently announced 2025 edition, that was unveiled at EICMA.
There have been several changes for 2025, starting with a revised front end thanks to its new dual LED headlight that’s been inspired by the Africa Twin. A refined screen has been added to the list of new items which will improve air flow around the helmet area, while an all-new five-inch TFT display has been introduced.
There’s also a new switchgear but when diving into the engine and chassis, everything remains as is compared to the 2024 model. The 755cc parallel-twin comprises a 270-degree crankshaft which produces 90bhp and 55Ib fit of torque.
While the 2025 model won’t see a drastic uprise in terms of price, the new bike will certainly be an increase over the previous generation XL750 Transalp, which together with the savings that’s available on this 2024 edition, presents very good value.
The brakes feature 310mm wave discs and two-piston callipers at the front, and a 256mm disc at the back with a single-pot calliper. Suspension-wise, the same non-adjustable, 43mm Showa SFF-CA fork (Separate Function Fork-Cartridge) is paired with a preload-adjustable monoshock. You still get 200mm of travel at the front and 190mm at the rear.
Like the new 2025 XL750 Transalp model, it also features traction control and the same riding modes such as Sport, Standard, Rain and Gravel, although it comes without cruise control which is the change we also wanted but did not get for the 2025 model.
