Blood Bikes Radio is live!
Blood Bikes has launched its own radio station meaning Blood Bikes Radio is now live on the airwaves!
BLOOD Bikes Radio is now live and streaming from a dedicated website with the aim of raising money and awareness of the charity.
Blood Bikes Radio is the brainchild Paul Redfern (top) who is the Chairman of Blood Bikes Manchester, who previously helped to produce BikerFM. Paul was also one of the founders of Blood Bikes Manchester, so is well placed to try and help raise the profile of the charity across the airwaves!
Just like the Blood Bikes service needs rider volunteers, the station needs guest DJs and presenters, as running the station fulltime is just too much of a task for Paul alone.
Blood Bikes Radio needs volunteers
If you fancy having a go at being a voluntary presenter, there are a few things you need,
- Knowledge or insight into Blood Bikes, what we do, why we do it etc, ideally be a member of a group.
- A computer and the ability to use it, the station software is very easy to use.
- An internet connection, ideally hard wired to your home router rather than wifi.
- A microphone and headphones or an all in one headset. This is so you can hear what your playing and speak live.
- Music on your computer, this can be anything, but bare in mind you want to generate a following and if your playing thrash metal throughout your show, then that is the target audience your gonna get, everyone else will switch off.
- The ability to share the station, either through your personal social media or indeed the stations.
- Ideas on how we can get sponsorship which will cover the running costs.
