Husqvarna Factory Edition FC450 Gets Unveiled
Husqvarna has rolled out its latest special edition motocross bike, the FC450 which has received a special Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing livery
After previously unveiling three other FC models for 2025, Husqvarna has taken the covers off its most advanced motocross bike for next year, in the form of an FC450 Factory Edition motorcycle.
The new Factory Edition bike, which is kitted out in a lovely race livery, joins the FC250, FC350 and FC450 in being showcased ahead of 2025 and as expected, it will cost the most of all four bikes, coming in at £12,099 - £1k more than the standard FC450.
The list of technical parts found on the new Factory Edition model includes an all-new Connectivity Unit Offroad (CUO) and the front-fender-mounted GPS sensor. The CUO has been mated with the Ride Husqvarna Motorcycles smartphone app, while a choice of pre-set engine maps based on pre-defined track conditions can be activated from the engine section of the app.
Each map can also be personalised and saved for future reference, with riders having the ability to refine the settings of the engine braking, launch and traction control. The new FC450 comes standard with a quickshifter to make it all the more enticing.
For the suspension, the new FC450 Factory Edition gets the material used by its owners KTM, with WP XACT 48mm front forks that include AER technology to offer more progressive end-of-stroke damping aboard the motorcycle. At the rear is a WP XACT shock design with CFD-optimised main piston and tool-free adjusters.
Other top-of-the-range specs include Brembo hydraulic clutch and brake systems, Factory Racing CNC-machined triple clamps with adjustable offset (20 – 22mm), a Factory Racing wheel set assembled with EXCEL Takasago rims and black-anodised CNC machined hubs, FMF Racing Factory 4.1 silencer, Rekluse outer clutch cover and a WP Factory start device.
Along with the new motorcycles, riders can get their hands on a new competition-focused selection of apparel garments that are tailored towards the new Factory Edition bike, which is already available at Husqvarna Mobility dealerships nationwide.
Additionally, Husqvarna’s Rockstar Replica Team Collection is a casual clothing line that’s been worn by Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing team members. This particular collection comprises t-shirts, jackets, trousers and hats.
