The 450 SR is the sportiest member of CFMoto’s 450 family of machines, which includes, naked, mid-weight adventure, and cruiser variants of the 46bhp platform. It’s also the obvious platform for the Chinese brand to use as it looks to commemorate its stellar 2024 Moto3 season, which saw David Alonso securing 14 victories on his way to the rider’s title.

On top of Alonso’s historic championship, which surpassed Valentino Rossi’s 1997 record for the most wins in a season in the third class (eleven wins), CFMoto also scooped the team and manufacturer titles, sealing a historic triple crown for the brand.

CFMoto is understandably very proud of this achievement and has used its neat 450 SR as the basis for a special edition bike that is decked out in a livery inspired by its racing siblings, and decked out with a host of accessories and special parts.

On top of the new livery, the 451 limited editions also gain non-folding, CNC rearsets, and a tinted windscreen. Each bike will also come complete with an engraved top clamp, denoting its production number within the series.

There’s no mention of the machine on the CFMoto UK website, and the brand’s UK PR has no further information on the model’s price or if it will come here. We can tell you that in France it’ll cost €7,199 (around £5,941) which is around €700 more than the stock 450 SR but the same price as the more trick 450 SR-S - which gains a boost in chassis spec.

You can find out more about the standard UK-spec CFMoto 450 SR on the official website.
