Motorcycle Trackdays are Back at Silverstone in Limited Numbers
Three dates for 2025 have been confirmed as motorcycle riders can take part in trackdays at Silverstone using the same layout as MotoGP riders
Motorcycle trackdays are back at Silverstone in 2025 following a hiatus last year, but there will only be three opportunities throughout the year to ride the same circuit layout as MotoGP riders.
The 3.66-mile circuit has limited track time compared to other circuits in the UK, while the price to attend is £329, which is the same no matter which of the three dates you choose.
It’s unclear if further dates will be added to the three already confirmed by the Northamptonshire-based venue, but if no more dates are added it will pale in comparison to what’s available on four wheels as the next car date is 8 March and that runs all the way through until 14 March.
All three motorcycle track days at Silverstone in 2025 will feature a three-group format and a noise restriction of 102dB. The three dates are 27 May, 16 June and 13 August.
While the pricing for two-wheel track days at Silverstone is more expensive than over venues, including Donington Park, it’s cheaper than if you’re attending in a car around the same Grand Prix layout.
Prices for a car track day at Silverstone are over £100 more than if you attend on a motorcycle, although it could cost you up to £999 on four-wheels if you opt for any of the ‘Premium’ dates.
The three motorcycle trackday dates are strictly related to the Grand Prix layout, whereas the current car dates feature the shorter national circuit as well, which is a layout that’s used for racing by British Superbikes.
Riders can book any of the three available dates now and these can be found on the official Silverstone website. We will also update you if any further dates for 2025 are confirmed.
