THE Indian Chief Dark Horse will be returning as a 2016 model, according to a US vehicle emissions document.

Certification files from the California Air Resources Board (CARB) show that the new Chief Dark Horse will be powered by an 1811cc V-twin engine that makes 102.4ftlb of torque.

The same engine is used in Indian’s Chief Classic, Chief Vintage, Chieftain and Roadmaster.

Originally built from 2010 to 2013, the Dark Horse is painted in black with matte black accents covering the bike.
