Kawasaki Vulcan S Café

Launched in America – but will we get it?

OK, so it’s only a case of a new paintwork and the addition of a windscreen (that’s already offered as an extra) but the newly-launched Kawasaki Vulcan S Café actually looks pretty good.

The ER6-engined Vulcan S has been something of a sales sensation since its launch a year ago – it’s the fifth-best-selling Kwak in the UK at the moment – and there’s something attractive about the way it ignores cruiser convention. No V-twin, no chrome, no tassels, no ‘Black Widows’ image baggage.

The Café version looks better still, and that screen should add a dose of practicality too. At the moment, it’s in the 2016 range in America, but so far not in the UK.
