Finland MotoGP test line-up announced, Tuuli attends

The rider line-up and track schedule for next month's inaugural MotoGP test at the KymiRing in Finland has been announced by Dorna.

The track will be open for MotoGP activities from 10:00 to 17:00 on August 19 and 20 when each manufacturer will be represented by one test rider: Stefan Bradl (Honda), Michele Pirro (Ducati), Sylvain Guintoli (Suzuki), Jonas Folger (Yamaha), Bradley Smith (Aprilia), plus home star Mika Kallio (KTM).

Once the MotoGP riders have concluded their running, the track will then be opened up for local riders to sample - including Niki Tuuli, who made history at the Sachsenring earlier this month by winning the first-ever MotoE race.

It is not clear which type of machine Tuuli, also a former WSS race winner and Moto2 competitor, will use at the test.

The KymiRing outing is effectively a dry run to ensure the circuit is ready to join the MotoGP calendar in 2020, while also allowing Michelin and the manufacturers to gather data on the new venue.
