MotoGP 2015: Championship standings after Misano

DESPITE Marc Marquez winning in Misano, Rossi still maintains his lead of the MotoGP World Championship.

The nine-time World Champion now has 247-points, 23-points clear of Lorenzo due to his DNF at Misano.

Marquez now jumps to 184-points leaving him with a comfortable margin ahead of Andrea Iannone who has 159-points.

A second MotoGP podium now means Britain’s Bradley Smith adds another 20-points to his tally leaving him fifth overall whilst Scott Redding now sits in 13th position after finishing third in Misano.
