Ian Hutchinson has suffered a suspected broken femur during the Isle of Man TT Senior race while battling for the lead with Peter Hickman.
The Senior TT race was red flagged by organisers on lap two after an incident at Glencrutchey Road and after Hutchinson didn’t make it through the Bungalow checkpoint it was clear the Tyco BMW rider had been involved.
Isle of Man TT organisers confirmed Hutchinson has been taken by airmed to hospital with leg injuries, suspected to be a fractured femur, but was conscious on his way to hospital.
The race has been rescheduled to a four lap race with a start time a 5.15pm.
