Off-Road Ducati Panigale V4 Rips up Sand Dunes

After being reconstructed and turned into an off-road bike, this resurrected Panigale V4 gets thrashed across sand dunes after being fitted with a paddle tyre

A Ducati Panigale V4 riding sand dunes covered in snow somehow managed to stay in one piece, even if it required a lot of stitching back together after being looped into the air.

Matt Spears, an American YouTuber, recently bought a 2024 Ducati Panigale V4 albeit it needed a lot of TLC as it was completely wrecked when he got it. But that didn’t put Spears off from buying his dream bike and attempting to ride up mountain trails and icy roads with a road tyre in the rear.

As you can imagine, Spears didn’t make it all the way up to the top as the road tyre continued to give way in the snow, however, his latest efforts on the sand dunes were more successful.

Keeping the Knobbly front tyre he fitted in the previous video, Spears then went on to mount a paddle tyre on the rear which gave the 216bhp bike the grunt it needed to cut through snow and sand.

When Spears arrived at the sand dunes everything seemed under control as he pushed the bike’s limits, however, the mood came crashing down when he was spat off the rear of the superbike-turned-adventure machine, which broke the fairing.

After a lengthy job drilling and stitching the bike’s fairing back together, Spears went on to tackle even bigger sand dunes that were covered in snow, and miraculously, the bike held up despite the damage it had amassed just moments prior.

After starting on the ‘baby’ dunes, Spears heads to much deeper terrain and the Panigale V4 seems to be in its off-roading element, something I never throught I’d say. The only issues Spears and his buddy Kev encounter is the deeper snow and frozen sand, which for Spears, who is seen throughout the video riding without gloves, makes it very challenging.

Spears then takes out some preload in the rear shock to make the bike more conducive to the conditions which seems to work but the biggest dunes in the area were not attempted due to the snow and lack of light.

Watch below to see how Spears and Kev fared.
