Royal Enfield Collaborates with The Great Frog on Custom Cruiser
Royal Enfield and The Great Frog have joined forces to create a one-off custom cruiser with a 650cc twin-cylinder engine at its heart
Some ‘hot off the lily pad’ news for you this morning as Royal Enfield and *checks notes* The Great Frog have released details of a new collaboration - just in time for The Bike Shed Moto Show.
The bike started life as a Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650, but has been reimagined as a “Brit chopper”, complete with swooping tank profile, high-mounted and flat ‘drag bars’, and a dinky headlight cowl. Dominating the bike's aesthetic, though, is the high-backed King and Queen seat. Accompanying the bike is a limited edition handcrafted sterling silver ring and the obligatory exclusive apparel collection.
We all know Royal Enfield, but The Great Frog is a new one on us. After some googling, it turns out to be a boojie London brand making rock and roll-inspired jewellery, apparel and sunglasses. It’s the kind of place where a set of wire-rimmed aviator-style specs will set you back 500 quid, and the chances are that if you don’t like the look of the clobber on sale, you (we) definitely aren’t cool enough…
The bike will now be getting its first public airing at The Bike Shed Moto Show at the Tobacco Dock, London, May 23 to 25.
