Segway Launches New E105S and E205S Electric Scooter Models
Segway has launched two new electric scooter models for the European market, including a more powerful E205S model which can deliver a range of 103 miles

The electric scooter segment has been booming in recent times and Segway has become the latest brand to unveil not one, but two new models for the European market.
Those are the E150S and E250S and both will land in the European market sometime this year. Starting with the Segway E150S, the smaller of the two electric scooters is a lightweight model designed with urban commuting in mind.
With a 2.7kW (3.6bhp) motor packed inside its thin frame - the E105S can produce a claimed 3.6kW (4.8bhp) of peak power, it also tops out at a speed of 28 mph. The new scooter comes with a standard 74V 27 Ah lithium-ion battery which gives it a range of up to 37 miles, but riders can get up to 112 miles with additional battery packs.
On the other hand, the E250S model is a more powerful option and as such it delivers 7.5kW (10bhp) as well as a top speed of 56mph.
The new E250S comes standard with two batteries, the first of which provides a range of 68 miles, but an optional third battery can increase its range to around 103 miles.

While the two scooters share differences in both power and range, both lightweight bikes feature dual-channel ABS, hydraulic disc brakes, traction control, hill-start assist, and an automatic handlebar lock for better security.
A smart TFT screen includes navigation and ride data, while both feature full LED lighting. The E150S has primarily been designed with city commuters in mind, while the E250S will land as an alternative for riders who are looking to ride for longer distances.
Pricing and availability is not yet known for either bike.
