Special Edition Honda X-ADV Arrives for 2025
A new limited edition Honda X-ADV is coming to the UK soon and will be available for order in December
Alongside the standard Honda X-ADV model that is new for 2025, which we recently tested, here at Visordown, the new special edition will be available for order next month and will cost £12,499.
The new special edition X-ADV model features a ‘Gold Finch Yellow’ paint scheme and will be available in just 30 units. Each bike will include a numbered plaque at the base of the fuel tank to help mark its authenticity.
Separating them from the standard mode, all 30 units are further distinguished by the inclusion of the Adventure Pack, Comfort Pack, and Luggage Divider as standard components on the scooter. This will include things such as protective front side pipes, front fog lights, heated grips, leg deflectors and a nine-litre console bag among other features.
Having sold a whopping 76,000 X-ADV scooter models since 2017, it’s no wonder the Japanese brand is investing in a special edition version of the bike as there’s clearly a market for the popular X-ADV range, albeit in mainland Europe and not so much in the UK.
In our review of the new X-ADV scooter we highlighted many of its strong points, whether that be its overhauled appearance or easy-to-ride nature, which begged the question, is it being undervalued on our shores as other markets have enjoyed greater sales success with the previous models.
What could change that is the significant updates for 2025, which features cruise control as standard, four-way backlit switchgear and a windscreen that can be adjusted tool-free and on the move between three positions. Added seat foam has been provided to increase comfort, which is never a bad thing.
Its DCT gearbox has also undergone a tickle, and four standard riding modes now comprise Standard, Sport, Gravel, and Rain. With that, you also get keyless ignition.
Unchanged compared to the previous generation X-ADV model, its 745cc parallel twin power unit retains the same performance and produces 57.8bhp at 6750rpm and 50Ib ft of torque at 4750rpm. However, there’s also a 47bhp version to make it A2-licence compliant.
