If you’re looking to take your collectors showroom to the next level then this stunning Bimota YB10 Dieci, with just 3128 miles on the clock, could be yours for just £15K

Using a four-stroke, transverse four-cylinder DOHC engine, the YB10 Dieci was produced from 1991 to 1994 and was the third evolution of the model after the YB6 and YB8 models.

A 1002cc machine, it produces a whopping (for 1991) 145bhp and 69.4Ib ft of torque, while power is delivered to the rear wheel via a five speed transmission. The YB10 Dieci was named to celebrate Bimota’s 10th collaboration with Yamaha and led to just 224 examples being made.

Each one featured a billet aluminium frame, a seamless one-piece upper fairing, and a set of two-tone three-spoke wheels. A distinctive red and silver livery came as standard although the bike available from The Bike Specialists is a unique blue and yellow colourway.

Bimota utilised the powerplant from Yamaha's FZR1000 Exup, although instead of Yamaha’s fuel injection system, Mikuni carbs were chosen, as they helped the bike achieve its 145hp and top speed of 172mph.

The YB10 features 42mm upside-down forks from Marzocchi while the preload, compression and rebound damping are all adjustable. That’s the same on the rear although it is Ohlins and not Marzocchi that’s fitted. The brakes are from Brembo with the front consisting of two 320mm discs and four-piston calipers.

The Dieci edition was a direct replacement for the YB8 model, which in-turn was initially released as the YB6 Exup. The price for the Bimota YB10 Dieci is £15,999 and delivery in the UK or worldwide is available.

The bike includes the original rider's handbook, service book, a multitude of old MOT certificates and the original showroom brochure.
