Custom bike and accessory maker, Thornton Hundred, has put its stunning supercharged Triumph Speed Triple 1200RR up for sale.

The drift bike, which has a £55,000 price tag hanging from it’s carbon fairing, produced a massive 400bhp at the crank during its appearance at Goodwood, as it slewed sideways up the hillclimb emitting an immense cloud of tyre smoke. And it’s just as wild in its standard power mode, with the 190kg bike pumping out a claimed 230bhp at the rear wheel!

The custom-built machine was crafted by the company’s founder, Jody Millhouse, and comprises a Rotrex C30 supercharger, which is mated to a highly modified Triumph inline three-cylinder engine. Boosting the power output further is a water/methanol injection system, which is housed within the bike’s beautifully machined and hollow swingarm.

The unit is 180mm longer than stock, and is said to be worth around £14,000. The exterior of the bike boasts full carbon fibre bodywork with active aerodynamics topping off the list of wild in-house modifications. The bike also gets full carbon fibre wheels from Rotobox, and a custom-built titanium exhaust that weighs a mere 2.4kg.

As part of its makeup, the supercharged Speed Triple 1200RR can be seen with other carbon fibre parts across the front and side fairings, winglets, headlight and the rear seat cover, as well as the Arrow exhaust’s tail pipe.

Perhaps the most surprising part to all this is that the bike is fully road legal and MOT compliant. It also has just 250 miles on the clock, so not only is it in pristine condition, but the bike has barely been used since its production days - although most of those miles were spent bouncing off the rev-limiter at Goodwood.
