Suzuki GSX-R1000 ‘Rizla GP’ Edition Bike is Very Cheap
It appears Christmas has come early as this super rare Suzuki GSX-R1000 ‘Rizla GP’ bike, that pays homage to its time in MotoGP, also features a blindingly low price
A fan of Suzuki, MotoGP, and limited edition motorcycles with low mileage and price, this tidy GSX-R1000 K8 ‘Rizla GP’ model has all of the above and more. It’s number 115 of 135 examples ever made as part of the Japanese manufacturer’s collaboration with the Rizla Suzuki MotoGP team.
With just 5,371 miles on the clock, this very rare motorcycle costs just £8,999 courtesy of The Bike Specialists. Featuring a twin-pipe custom exhaust, the bike is kitted out in race sponsors used by the factory team during the early-to-mid 2000s.
Should you be willing to part with the required cash for this bike, you can expect it to be supplied with all the books including the original handbook, service book, Rizla GP media booklet, two keys and the all-important framed certificate of authenticity.
There is also all the boring but very necessary paperwork including MOT certificates and service receipts. The bike will receive a service and fresh MOT prior to sale, according to the Sheffield-based dealer.
The list of features included on this special limited edition bike is vast, with a Rizla livery that comprises blue-and-yellow paintwork inspired by the Rizla Suzuki MotoGP team and limited edition decals and branding to give it the same aesthetic looks as the official race bike.
Using a 999cc inline-four engine that produces approximately 185bhp and 85.5Ib ft of torque, the bike also includes a slipper clutch, adjustable Showa suspension, and a twin-spar aluminium frame for improved handling.
Multi-mode Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (S-DMS) for customizable power delivery is part of the GSX-R1000’s set-up, as are high-performance radial-mounted Tokico front brake callipers. The model was produced in limited numbers for certain markets, making it an even more attractive bike for collectors and it is shipped with Rizla team memorabilia.
