Aussie biker fined for wearing helmet upside down

He was fined $319 and awarded three demerit points

AN Australian motorcyclist found himself on the wrong side of the law after wearing his helmet the wrong way round.

That itself is pretty odd, but his reason for doing so is even odder...

According to the Traffic and Highway Police Command - NSW Police Force, the young man had decided to wear the open-faced lid back to front/upside down as he had a spot on his cheek, which was irritated by the helmet strap...

Unfortunately, the Surry Hills Highway Patrol didn't sympathise, and handed him a $319 (£180) fine and three 'demerit points'.
