Affordable AJS Sedona 250 Cruiser Gets Unveiled
AJS has launched a Sedona 250 cruiser that’s A2-license complaint and best of all, costs £4,699
Small-capacity bike specialists AJS have launched a new Sedona 250 V-twin cruiser motorcycle for 2025, which is likely to go up against Royal Enfield’s Meteor 350.
The new dynamic-looking cruiser from AJS produces a claimed 26.6bhp at 9000rpm and 15.5Ib ft of torque. The Royal Enfield’s air-cooled single-cylinder engine set-up is vastly different to the new Sedona 250 which comprises a 75-degree V-twin power unit with air-oil cooling.
With a curb weight of 172kg, the new bike by AJS also features an 18-litre fuel tank and it is thought that the new cruiser can reach speeds up to 80mph. Fuel economy is also impressive as AJS claims it will make 73.5mpg, giving it roughly 291 miles from full to empty.
Taking care of the braking is a disc at either end plus two-channel ABS. The bike’s wheel dimensions include a 17-inch front set-up and a slightly smaller 16-incher at the rear.
A2-licence friendly thanks to its gentle power figures, the new Sedona 250 features a very stylish look and comes in a black livery, along with a red and black option too. Riders of all sizes and heights are likely to enjoy this bike as it features a very manageable seat height of 750mm.
The bike also features a very neat oval LCD dashboard but based on the seating position and that of the handlebars and controls, those with longer limbs might be a bit more uncomfortable due to the forward positioning. A pair of upside-down front forks complete the bike’s look, with spring adjustment being the preload in the dual twin shocks.
The Sedona 250 is AJS’s most expensive motorcycle within its range, however, it’s also the only non-125cc bike to land from the British company. That said, the bike’s RRP of £4,599 is likely to get customers on board and it is available to buy now via the official website.
