Moto Guzzi Open House Returns for 2024

The annual bash celebrating the historic Italian brand Moto Guzzi is confirmed again for 2024 and will be taking place between September 12 and 15.

Nestled on the banks of the stunning Lake Como and in the shadow of the spectacular Alps, Mandello del Lario is set to reverberate to the sound of V-twin engines again, as Guzzi fans from across the world will descend on the town.

As with Moto Guzzi’s previous Open House events, there will be more on offer at the 2024 edition than simply stunning views and world-class riding roads. The party begins on Thursday, 12 September, when the full programme of the Motoraduno Internazionale Città della Moto Guzzi (which translates as ‘International Motorcycle Rally City of Moto Guzzi’) will begin, and then on 13 September, the Moto Guzzi Museum will welcome visitors. The event will give fans the chance to check out the renovated Via Parodi factory, which is claimed will be an “ultra-modern facility which will be the production site of the Moto Guzzi bikes of the future.”

The Piazza Leonardo da Vinci will be hosting an exhibition of machines, including a GTV 500 once owned by the Italian artist Antonio Ligabue, which will be watched over by a monument to Carlo Guzzi. Alongside these exhibits will be a collection of famous motorcycles from Moto Guzzi’s racing past.

A hosted ride-out will also be taking place, led by the Gruppo Amici di Maggiana and taking in 110 kilometres, 300 corners, 2 museums and a restaurant, and taking in Mandello, Menaggio, Pianello del Lario and Piona.

Alongside these and a host of other activities at this year’s open house, Moto Guzzi will also be holding the Motoraduno Lottery, which will see one lucky entrant taking home a Moto Guzzi V7 Stone in exclusive colours that are dedicated to the event.
