Highly-Anticipated CFMoto 675SR-R Sportbike Set to Arrive in UK Dealers
CFMoto’s brand new middleweight sportbike will land in 2025, and the UK market is now part of the equation for the Chinese brand’s new model
A considerable development, CFMoto’s all-new 675SR-R is coming to UK shores following months of teasers about the new bike.
Said teasers showed their face earlier this summer and we reported on the news that CFMoto was introducing a brand new supersport package to rival the likes of Yamaha’s R7, the Honda CBR650R and Triumph’s Daytona 660.
But availability, especially for the UK, was unconfirmed prior to the latest development which has promised just that, as the bike is heading for our part of the globe.
After already stepping into the sportbike segment with its 450SR-R model, CFMoto’s new 675SR-R will feature an inline three-cylinder engine capable of a claimed 88.5bhp at 11000rpm and 50.2Ib ft of torque at 8250rpm.
Like the Yamaha R7, which comprises a twin-cylinder CP2 engine, CFMoto’s new middleweight features a raised rear end and a five-inch curved TFT dash display. Standard with a quickshifter, further electronic goodies come in the form of two-stage traction control, front brake ducts for cooling along with integrated winglets in the side fairings.
The bike features a 15-litre fuel tank which is wrapped in a tubular steel alloy frame, together with an arched aluminium swingarm. The seat height sits at a modest 810mm as standard, while a pair of 17-inch rims are coated in CST tyres.
The 675SR-R front and rear suspension set-up is provided by KYB, with 41mm upside-down forks allowing full adjustment, while the rear monoshock offers preload and rebound adjustments. Both the front and rear feature 130mm of travel.
For braking, J.Juan is the route CFMoto has gone down, with a pair of 300mm discs and four-piston radial calipers at the front. On the rear is a single 240mm disc and one-piston sliding caliper. It’s currently unclear exactly when the new bikes will arrive, or the price point, but the expectation is soon after the new year.
