The 2021 KTM 450 Rally Replica gains updates and a Dakar service and support package!
IT doesn’t take a genius to figure out that to compete in the world’s toughest off-road motorcycle race, you need strength, fitness, and a motorcycle built to withstand the rigours of the desert.
If you’re looking for a turnkey solution to cross country rallies, you cannot ignore the potential of KTM’s 450 Rally. The machine is based on the factory KTM race bike ridden in the Dakar by the likes of Sam Sunderland, Toby Price, and Matthias Walkner. Because of this, the KTM 450 Rally has been designed and honed with direct input from the world’s best rally racers.

As the name suggests, the Rally Replica is powered by a 450cc, fuel-injected, SOHC engine that features the exact ratios that were used in the Dakar race bikes. The gearbox also features a new shifting mechanism for slicker shifts and is specially coated for longevity.
The engine is slotted into a specially built chrome-moly steel frame, designed specifically for rally racing. The frame stiffness has been optimised for improved feel and feedback, and the self-supporting fuel tank doubles as the subframe of the bike, helping to save precious weight.
The suspension comes courtesy of KTM’s in house suspension supremos WP, with their off-road specific XACT PRO 48mm front forks and fully adjustable rear shock offering 305mm and 300mm of travel respectively.

The KTM 450 Rally Replica is a strictly limited edition model, with just 85 examples of this ready to race machine being produced. With that in mind, the KTM is not the cost-effective off-road bike on the market – coming in at €25.900. There is also a special support and service package for those looking to take on the ultimate challenge and actually compete in the Dakar.
