Short clip reveals exhaust note of Royal Enfield's forthcoming adventure bike

This is what the Royal Enfield Himalayan sounds like

CHECK out the above video to hear the Royal Enfield Himalayan running, if only for a few seconds.

The short clip, posted by ThrottleQuest, was filmed somewhere in India at an event where selected attendees were invited to try out the new bike.

Apparently the exhaust (which looks to be on the bike in these spy shots) is an aftermarket item that will be available from the Himalayan’s parts catalogue.

The red auxiliary fuel tanks and 17-litre hard panniers on the bike in the video supposedly indicate that it’s the top-of-the-range Himalayan.

Attendees to the event in India also got the chance to test the bike and have reported that it has almost no vibration and that it hit 80mph and was still pulling.

We expect the bike to be officially unveiled at the start of February.
