Motorcycle YouTuber Arrested After Filming Near-190mph Speeding Offence
A motorcycle YouTuber in America filmed himself riding on a highway at nearly 190mph before being arrested

An American YouTuber was arrested after filming himself riding on highways in Connecticut as he reached speeds close to 190mph, but has since been released ahead of his court date.
Brice Bennett is the motorcycle ‘influencer’ who was arrested for speeding, something he allegedly did on numerous occasions as he regularly uploaded footage of himself doing so to his social media platforms.
In one particular video, the American is seen riding a CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP, hitting a top speed of 186mph as he weaves through traffic.
Bennett was charged with reckless operation of a motorcycle earlier this month, following an anonymous complaint in December about his driving, according to an arrest warrant from Connecticut State Police that was obtained by WFSB.
Detectives identified Bennett through his social media accounts, where he reached speeds in excess of 150mph in videos posted online. Some clips show him achieving speeds close to 200mph thanks to a helmet-mounted camera.
“A review of the YouTube account revealed numerous videos of reckless driving, reckless endangerment by putting other motorists at risk, and failure to maintain lane infractions,” said Bennett’s arrest warrant.
“There were also videos in numerous different states and race tracks posted." The arrest warrant also reads: "Bennett's reckless driving behaviour has been a persistent issue on social media platforms.”
According to police, his dangerous actions occurred on an “ongoing” basis, while he regularly demonstrated “unsafe and illegal driving habits”.
Since his arrest, Bennett has been released on a $5,000 (around £3,760) bond, with his day in court set for April 29.
