Pramac Yamaha Unveils New MotoGP Bikes and Riders
The new Pramac Yamaha team has ripped the covers off its all-new M1 machines, unveiling Jack Miller and Miguel Oliveira as part of the launch
Jack Miller and Miguel Oliveira have been given a first look at their all-new Pramac Yamaha M1 MotoGP bikes for the 2025 season, and it's one of the best looking motorcycles on the grid.
Formerly with Ducati, Yamaha managed to poach the satellite team away from the Bologna-based brand for 2025, despite Ducati having the most competitive bike on the grid which was highlighted by Jorge Martin’s title success with Pramac in 2024, while Ducati across four different riders managed to win 19 out of 20 Grand Prix.
Dazzled in purple with a touch of the same factory blue that’s aboard the Monster Energy Yamaha bikes, Miller and Oliveira will be riding M1 machinery for the first time in 2025 following their moves from KTM and Aprilia, respectively.
Like most people we were eager to see the new Pramac Yamaha in all its glory, not just because new liveries always find a way to whet the appetite, but because Alpine branding was set to be showcased for the first time following the recent agreement between the two sides. And the F1 team won’t be missed as the Alpine logo is layered across the side fairing.
Also unveiled was the factory team as Fabio Quartararo and Alex Rins took the covers off their new 2025 bikes, but there was not a great deal to see as the livery has not changed much at all.
2025 is a big year for Yamaha in many ways, as it expects to debut its all-new V4 engine at some stage, while the 1 July will mark the Japanese company’s 70th anniversary. With most of the grid having already taken the covers of its new bikes, only two teams are left outstanding.
First up will be the factory Honda team on 1 February before LCR becomes the final team to present its RC213V a week later.
