Honda has unveiled a special anniversary edition Honda Monkey 125 Chrome Legacy bike, which also comes with a matching helmet. However, it's for Thai customers only.

It’s a typical ‘we want nice things’ moment as Honda is celebrating its 60-year anniversary in Thailand with this special limited edition model, meaning it has no chance of seeing the light of day in the UK.

But that doesn’t mean we can’t appreciate it nonetheless, as the new model, which will be individually numbered, features a classy chrome finish on the tank and body panels, while the bike’s design also harks back to the history of both Honda and its dashing Monkey model.

The new limited edition variant receives a logo that incorporates the vintage Honda wing logo, as well as two little silver monkeys that draw a very specific line back to the first Monkey produced in 1961. The seat features a vintage black leather cover, along with stainless steel studs covering the base which serve as decorations.

On top of all that, customers in Thailand that go ahead and grab the 60-year anniversary model can also get a matching helmet that bears the same logo as the Chrome Legacy Monkey. It is complete with dual monkey emblems and 60th anniversary script detailing.

The new bike was introduced at the 2025 Bangkok International Motor Show, which runs until 6 April. That’s a crucial date to remember as the Chrome Legacy Monkey won’t be available beyond that date. To buy the bike you'll need to visit any Cub House location in Thailand to place your order before the time is up.

The 60th anniversary model has been introduced just a month after the standard Honda Monkey received new colour options for 2025 and compliance with the Euro5+ emissions regulations, along with the Dax and Super Cub models.
