Honda Gives Dax, Monkey and Super Cub Fresh Tweaks
Honda has confirmed fresh colours for its learner-friendly retro Dax, Monkey and Super Cub models
Fresh colours and Euro5+compliance have arrived on Honda’s ST125 Dax, Monkey 125 and Super Cub C125 learner-friendly retro-inspired models.
Pricing starts with the Monkey 125 model being the most expensive of the lot. Kitted out in a flashy black and silver chrome colourway, the Monkey 125 costs £4,059.
Honda’s Super Cub scooter is next up with a price of £3,869 to go alongside its fresh colour scheme, while the ST125 Dax is the cheapest at £3,799. Very minor tweaks, along with the fresh colourways, have been made to make sure all three meet Euro5+ emission standards.
As part of the update all three bikes receive a new catalyser and ECU settings. Additionally, the ST125 Dax gets an OBD2-2 sensor. All three bikes retain their CBT compatibility and are powered by a 124cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine.
The very small and beginner-friendly power unit delivers a claimed 9.3bhp aboard the Dax and Monkey models, whereas the Cub produces a slightly more impactful 9.7bhp.
The new colours and ECU settings are not the only tweaks for 2025 as all three bikes get new accessories to boot. These include a new USB socket and heated grips. Additional add-ons include a rear carrier and side bag on the Dax.
The new Super Cub, which thanks to its update has been updated for the first time since 2022, is available in just one colour, that being the Pearl Bosporus Blue.
The Dax, last tickled in 2024, gets a Pearl Shining Black livery while the Monkey 125, last updated in 2023, gets a Sheen Silver Metallic colourway to go alongside Millennium Red and Turmeric Yellow options.
