Video footage has been shared showing the moment Taddy Blazusiak’s Stark Varg clattered into another rider, apparently without the Polish rider knowing anything about it.

The incident took place at the SuperEnduro World Championship’s German GP as Blazusiak exited the technical section just behind the occasionally hot-headed Tim Apolle. Apolle had an issue getting his bike over the log which signifies the end of the section, leading to Blazusiak ending up quite close to the side of Apolle’s bike. What happens next is the supposed reason for the Blazusiak’s departure from the team, as his bike, apparently without his input, runs into the German Apolle, looping into the air and sending him and his bike to the floor of the arena.

Both riders seemed to be unhurt after the collision, although Apolle was quick to shove the Stark Varg rider seemingly under the impression that it was the rider’s error, and not the machine he was riding.

After the incident, the Polish legend, who races with the ‘111’ number, quit the event, and shortly afterwards took to Instagram to explain his decision and the events that took place on the track. His statement reads:

“I inform that as of 15.01.2025 I unilaterally terminate the contract with Stark Future company and I refuse to race in the next races.

“I also want to express my apologies for the event [that] happened at German GP, which was not my intention and was caused by the unpredictable reaction of the motorcycle.”

It’s not clear whether the incident and his subsequent departure from the Stark Futures team, signals the end of Blazusiak’s career. After racing in Enduro, Hard Enduro, and Super Enduro, since 2007 and now being in his forties, his move to Stark Futures was clearly more helpful to the team than it was for his long career.
