Vanucci Introduces New All-Weather VAJ-5 Textile Touring Jacket

Vanucci has just dropped an all-new textile touring jacket that’s designed for all-weather riding, so why not make it the next item on your Christmas shopping list.

If, like me, you are someone who has ridden motorcycles year-round and across all types of glorious British conditions, a jacket to match the weather is undeniably a must. The VAJ-5 touring jacket, which Vanucci claims is its new flagship textile model, is now exclusively available in the UK thanks to Louis Moto.

Vanucci claims its new jacket is 100 per cent windproof and waterproof. It also comes with a detachable thermal lining making it ideal for year-round riding. Purposely lightweight and flexible in order to provide riders with added comfort, they also claim it will “stand up to years of hard use”.

A statement from Vanucci said: “The new VAJ-5 is CE AA certified and provides outstanding durability and resistance to wear and tear thanks to its sturdy outer textile material. It is also lightweight and flexible, providing riders with comfort and confidence that the jacket will stand up to years of hard use. The jacket is also equipped with SympaTex membrane technology, offering 100% windproof and waterproof protection in adverse weather conditions.

“Vanucci has engineered the VAJ-5 jacket to provide excellent protection, ensuring safety is never compromised. The jacket features CE Level 2 armour on the shoulders and elbows, providing riders with high levels of impact resistance in vulnerable areas. Additionally, it comes with a pocket for an optional back protector, allowing riders to further customise their safety setup. Reflective elements are strategically placed to enhance visibility in low-light conditions, helping riders remain seen when visibility is low.”

The jacket will also be a hit with those of you who like to carry multiple devices with you as there are a total of four waterproof pockets. The VAJ-5 also features multiple adjustment areas on the sleeves, waist, and hips to ensure a snug fit, minimising wind flapping at high speeds while allowing a full range of motion. Adjustable air inlets are also part of the jacket on the chest and arms.

In terms of sizing, the new VAJ-5 is available from S-6XL and retails for £417.00.
