Ten unmissable two-wheeled things to do at Goodwood FOS

We found out what's hot at the Sussex motorsport show

THE Goodwood Festival of Speed is one of the premier events on the motoring calendar. Admittedly, it’s more focussed on four wheels than two, but there’s still plenty of great biking things to do.

We popped along on the opening day of the event to find out what you can’t afford to miss at the Sussex show…

10) Flybys

They may have two wings instead of wheels, but what motor enthusiast doesn’t love a good flyby? Both the Blades and the Red Arrows will take to the skies above Sussex this weekend.

9) Check out the manufacturer bikes

BMW, Norton, Honda – all the big names in motorcycles have brought along their best new bikes, in an attempt to steal your heart and coax out your credit card.

8) Now check out the classics in the paddocks

If modern metal isn’t really your thing, take a stroll around the paddocks to see some awesome classic and custom bikes – you’ll also spot these lining up alongside the manufacturers on the hill throughout the weekend.

7) Freefall at Ford’s air bag

Admittedly, this one has nothing to do with bikes, but who doesn’t like throwing themselves off a platform on to a huge bag of air?

6) See Sam Sunderland and his Dakar-winning KTM

Sam Sunderland is one of Britain’s top motorcycle athletes, and the 2017 Dakar Rally champion. Visit the Red Bull tent when you arrive to find out when you can catch him talking about all things dirt bike.
