Triumph has confirmed what bike will be heading the way of the top fundraiser at the 2025 Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (DGR) in May.

The DGR, which sees participants don vintage-style clothing for a series of fundraising rides, is scheduled to take place on 18 May, with Triumph returning for a 12th consecutive year as the official partner.

Movember is the major recipient of money that’s raised at the DGR event and that has been the case for the last decade, with the charity’s work focusing primarily on men’s health issues. As a result the British brand has confirmed it will be giving out prizes for the top three fundraisers.

The overall winner will get a Scrambler 1200 Icon Edition in either the X or off-road-focused XE specification, which features a classic design through gold logos on the tank and an aluminium silver paint scheme.

The X model does not feature adjustable front suspension but the XE does thanks to its premium Marzocchi set-up. The XE comprises Marzocchi 45mm fully adjustable forks with 250mm wheel travel. The rear suspension features Marzocchi twin RSU’s with a piggyback reservoir and is fully adjustable, again with 250mm wheel travel.

The X model, released just one year ago, features a Bonneville engine as does the 1200XE, producing 89bhp and 81.1Ib ft of torque..

The top two fundraiser runners-up will share second place and both will get a Triumph Modern Classic of their choice, including models such as the Speed 400, Bonneville T100 and Scrambler 900.

Whether it is the Scrambler 900, 1200X and 1200XE that you take home, all three models share the same highlights of the first Triumph logo from 1907 while also receiving Sapphire Black and Aluminum Silver colour combinations.

Paul Stroud, chief commercial officer, Triumph Motorcycles said: “This year, we will be rewarding the highest fundraiser with an iconic motorcycle; the Scrambler 1200 Icon Edition, as well as a number of other prizes for fundraising efforts. With these prizes, we hope to unite passionate Triumph riders across the world on 18 May to join Team Triumph, dress dapper, raise money for the cause and enjoy the ride.”
