2025 MotoGP Line-Up Complete as Jack Miller Joins Yamaha
The 2025 MotoGP grid is now complete as Jack Miller has put pen to paper on a one-year deal with Pramac Yamaha

After many months of uncertainty surrounding his future, Jack Miller will officially remain a MotoGP rider for at least one more season.
The former race winner with both Honda and Ducati, has not enjoyed the same success since joining KTM at the beginning of last season. And after being replaced by rookie sensation Pedro Acosta for next season, Miller soon had to look elsewhere as all doors were shut at KTM.
But formerly of the Pramac set-up as part of Ducati’s line-up, Miller has found a home with his old team, moving to Yamaha in the process which will be his fourth different manufacturer since joining the premier class.
The Australian has signed a one-year deal with the Pramac Yamaha outfit and will join Miguel Oliveira, who was recently confirmed following his departure from Trackhouse Racing.
“We are happy to announce that Jack is joining Prima Pramac Racing's line-up, and we warmly welcome him to the Yamaha MotoGP group.” said Yamaha Motor Racing Managing Director, Lin Jarvis.
“With 10 years of experience in the MotoGP class with three different manufacturers, Jack will be a valuable asset for Yamaha. His speed, knowledge, work ethic, and team spirit will be invaluable to our project as we plan to improve the performance of the M1 in 2025 and beyond. Yamaha will be supporting him in every way they can.”
While the Pramac team is no stranger to success and could be crowned 2024 world champions with Jorge Martin later this year - the soon-to-be Aprilia rider currently leads the standings - Yamaha has not won a race since 2022. Having Miller onboard is a chance for the Japanese brand to use his valuable MotoGP experience as it looks to become a contender again.
Speaking about the team’s new signing, Pramac Team Manager Gino Borsoi said: “I will have the pleasure of working with Jack Miller in 2025. He left good memories in the team, and I am confident we will be able to create new ones together.
"His extensive experience in MotoGP is certainly important for developing the new project we will be working on with Yamaha.”
