Croig and Strange Industries have launched a raffle with a difference, as the tickets to win this one-of-a-kind XSR900 will also raise money for charity.

The feel-good factor doesn’t end with raising money for Waves For Water, the bike has also been built using ampliTex flax fibre bodywork. As the name of the material suggests, it's a fibrous cloth that is woven from flax, has similar properties to carbon fibre meaning it can be hardened once moulded into shape.

On top of the nifty bodywork, the bike features a host of top-spec parts from more well-known companies. These include lightweight carbon fibre wheels from Rotobox, an Akrapovič titanium exhaust system, and suspension from Ohlins.

The bike, which is called ‘Yard Built for Good’, is now being raffled by Croig, the brand behind the Cafe Racers of Instagram profile. Ten entries in the raffle cost just $10, but for those with deeper pockets, $1,000 gets you 2,500 entries in the raffle, massively increasing your chances of winning the one-off machine.

The charity that is set to benefit from the fundraising is, as its name suggests, a charity aimed at improving access to clean and safe drinking water regardless of location. Something it quite rightly deems to be a fundamental human right. More information on the charity can be found here.
