James Bond 007 Triumph Scrambler 1200 for sale as an NFT
The Triumph Scrambler 1200 from the latest James Bond film, No Time to Die, is now available as a limited edition NFT
THE two-wheeled star of the latest James Bond film, No Time to Die, is now available to buy for yourself, as the Triumph Scrambler 1200 from the movie is converted into an NFT.
The makers of the latest flick, the last one to feature Daniel Craig as 007, and Triumph have joined forces on the project, which is believed to be the first time a Triumph motorcycle has been officially made available on the NFT market.
Auctioned on the VeVe digital collecting app, 9007 digital 007 Scramblers will be made available, with each one costing 165 ‘Gems’ – which equates to around $87! For that you get a 1:1 scale animated 3D digital replica of the bike from the film, complete with sound files from the movie – we can barely contain our excitement!
The Scrambler 1200 is a key player in the new Bond flick, featuring in some of the most breath-taking scenes to take place in the 25th movie of the franchise.
By the way, this is the actual bike - not the NFT!
For months prior to filming, the Triumph team worked closely with Lee Morrison and his stunt team to configure several feature motorcycles for the movie. One of which is the star attraction at the Triumph Factory Visitor Experience in Hinckley.
What actually is the James Bond 007 Triumph Scrambler NFT?
We’ve downloaded the VeVe app to check out the goods and from what we can tell for your 87 bucks you essentially get a 360-degree 3D model of the bike that enables you to spin it, look under it and zoom in and out, marveling at the pixelated details.
We can’t hear the advertised audio though, we guess that to bask in the glory of that digitised delight, they’ll want to spank some cash on what surely is, the must-have Triumph and James Bond-related NFT we’ve seen this week…
