Shocking new bike leaves onlookers buzzing
VECTRIX are a little-known manufacturer of electricity-powered bikes, but they've got big ambitions for the future.
Vectrix already produce an electric scooter with a top speed of 62 mph and a range of 68 miles from its 125 Volt NiMH battery.
The Electric Superbike has a max speed of 125mph and will do the quarter mile in 12 seconds. That's ZX-6R territory. It uses a 240v 7.5KWh battery that makes up 64kg of its 204kg total weight.
