Prince William checks out Royal of a different kind
He was opening the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting Summit but couldn't resist the two-wheelers on display
HE'S better known for his love of Ducatis and dirt bikes, but Prince William yesterday showed his appreciation for something a little more laid back at a reception welcoming Commonwealth leaders to Britain.
The bike in question was a Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 - one of two new 650cc parallel twins unveiled by the Indian manufacturer at EICMA last year.
After opening the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting Summit at the QE2 Conference Centre in Westminster, William also quizzed Royal Enfield CEO Siddhartha Lal about the bike, which will hit UK dealerships soon.
