Triumph Reveals 2025 EnduroGP Factory Racing Team
The Triumph Factory Racing Enduro Team is headed up by Paul Edmondson, with Jamie McCanney and Mikael Persson riding the TF 250-E

Triumph Motorcycles will make history this weekend, as it steps up to compete in its first EnduroGP round powered by the new TF 250-E enduro bike.
We already knew that the experienced Paul Edmondson was taking the reigns of the team, but what we didn’t know, until now, was that the experienced duo of Jamie McCanney and Mikael Persson would be riding the newly revealed bikes.

McCanney, a Manxman, is a former Youth and Junior World Champion, with the 30-year-old boasting runner-up finishes in Enduro2 and Enduro1. He was also a key contributor to Team Great Britain’s International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) victory in 2022. In 2024, McCanney bagged four podiums in the E1 class before a mid-season injury put paid to stronger results.

Joining McCanney is the Swede Mikael Persson, who also brings years of experience to the burgeoning Triumph EnduroGP team. Persson finished runner-up in the E3 championship in 2022 and 2023, as well as topping the E3 class at the 2022 ISDE. 2025 will be Persson’s first time competing at this level in the E1 class after competing in the E2 class last season.

Speaking about the signings, team boss Edmondson said:
“For 2025 I’m really excited to get going with the new team in EnduroGP and bring my riders along with me. Everyone has worked unbelievably hard to be ready, and I must say a big thanks to all involved. Both Jamie and Mikael are the perfect fit for the team, bringing plenty of experience along with rider quality. It’s a proud moment for the Triumph programme and to get the enduro project now at the next step. I’m confident the results will arrive early on during this year, especially after our great pre-season test programme.”
