Stupid BMW driver decides to run a red light at a rapid rate of knots before smashing into an innocent rider, who appeared to be shaken up

This BMW driver caused a scene that looked straight out of the video game Burnout as he went flying through a red light, potentially causing serious harm to the motorcycle rider.

Surprisingly very few people actually came to the rider’s aid as traffic behind the motorcyclists began slowly moving past him. Another biker did come to check on him as did another civilian.

The rider, after laying flat following the huge impact, was able to very slowly bring himself to a seated position, while the car was nowhere to be seen in the clip.

The driver, who was in control (or by the looks of the video, driving like someone who was definitely not in control) of a white BMW, had clearly run a red light as the road had traffic coming from several different directions and it was to his right where the bike and ensuing cars were situated after their lights went green.

You don’t need me to tell you, whether you’re a car driver or motorcycle rider, don’t jump traffic lights because this is the type of impact, which could have cost the rider his life, that can happen when committing such a stupid manoeuvre.

Thankfully the rider was not seriously hurt but he was visibly shaken up by the impact and horrific accident. It’s hard to see how badly the motorcycle was damaged as bits of the bike flew up in the air as soon as the BMW driver whacked the motorcyclist.

Most of the bike remained in one piece although it violently hit the ground. The video was recorded from a car’s dashcam and it goes without saying that the driver is going to be in muddy waters for his role in the accident if the clip lands in the right hands.
