2023 Ducati Scrambler enters production
Production has begun on the 2023 Ducati Scrambler, the Italian manufacturer has announced. The bikes are expected to land in dealers in the spring.
Ducati has announced that production has begun on the 2023 range of the Ducati Scrambler.
2022 was an important year for the Ducati Scrambler, as it surpassed 100,000 sales globally. In 2023, having been first announced in the Ducati World Premiere series last year, the Scrambler range gets some updates, most notably with a 4kg weight reduction.
For 2023, there are three variants of the Ducati Scrambler, with the Icon (a contemporary take on the scrambler), Full Throttle (the ‘race-inspired’ variant), and Nightshift (which takes a more subtle, classic approach to the scrambler style), all making use of Ducati’s air-cooled Desmodue twin-cylinder engine, a steel trellis frame, and wide handlebars. Ride-by-wire and an optional quick-shifter are also featured, in addition to selectable riding modes, Ducati Traction Control, and a new colour TFT display.
The Icon is also able to set itself apart from its Scrambler siblings thanks to its interchangeable fuel tank cover, which allows for the Storm Green, Rio Celeste, Tangerine Orange, Jade Green, Sparkling Blue, and Velvet Red colours to be added, as optional extras, to the standard ‘62 Yellow, Thrilling Black and Ducati Red colours, which are also available on the other Scrambler variants, for a total of nine different colour options on the Icon variant of the 2023 Ducati Scrambler.
The 2023 Ducati Scrambler range is scheduled to land in Ducati dealers from the spring of 2023. Find your nearest Ducati dealer using the dealer locator tool on the Ducati website.
