Moto Legends acquires distribution rights for motorcycle brakes brand HEL
Distribution rights for the motorcycle brake manufacturer, HEL Performance, have been acquired by Moto Legends Distribution.
Moto Legends Distribution has announced its acquisition of rights to distribute products of HEL Performance, the motorcycle brakes manufacturer.
The deal for Moto Legends means that they can distribute HEL Performance products to both commercial and retail customers.
HEL Performance are a well-known brand especially in the British Superbikes paddock, where they have had a major presence for over a decade. It was with HEL Performance that Tarran Mackenzie won the 2021 British Superbike Championship.
Additionally, the company’s racing acumen is confirmed through its partnership with the Crescent Racing-run Pata Yamaha WorldSBK team, with which Toprak Razgatlioglu won the 2021 Superbike World Championship.
A Moto Legends press release says that “the Moto Legends Distribution LTD team will hold comprehensive stock levels and crucially build up specific kits for all major motorcycle models; in a variety of styles and colours.”
The press release continues, saying, “Moto Legends Distribution LTD will continue their well-established policies and relationships and are open to more customers for HEL products.”
Additionally, Moto Legends has hired Steve Garfoot, a HEL Performance expert from B&C Express, who has been making brake kits for over 10 years.
Moto Legends Distribution LTD owner Arthur Macdonald said: “We had a great opportunity to take over B&C’s HEL distribution, so jumped at the chance to bring over their equipment and key man Steve Garfoot to ensure a seamless transition for current customers.
“HEL is a high quality brand which racers and road riders trust, so we’re keen to be able to offer their products to the trade in our usual efficient fashion alongside all our other brands.”
