BRITISH firm Herald Motor Company has made its first 400cc model, adding to its current line-up of 125s and 250s.

Detailed specs have yet to be revealed but the 400cc single is expected to go on sale next year. It features a ribbed seat, knobbly tyres and a trellis frame.

It’s been in development for ‘quite some time’ according to Herald, importer of Chinese engines and components which are then assembled in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.

Herald has also announced two new 125s for 2018, the Scrambler and Café, both making 9.7hp.
